Aline Childs Reed passed from this life February 3, 2020 in Bedford, Texas at the age of 91 years and 5 months. Service: 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 11, 2020 College Hill Church of Christ. Interment 1:00 P.M. Tuesday Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 P.M. Monday, February 10, 2020 Northwest Church of Christ Aline was born in Cisco, Texas in her granddaddys farm house, September 3, 1928. She graduated from Breckenridge High School. Later she married Gilbert Reed at the preachers home in Breckenridge, Texas on June 26, 1947. They were married for 57 years. The couple moved to Fort Worth, Texas where they made their home. She worked as a receptionist in Breckenridge and River Oaks for American National Insurance Co. But her real passion and love was her work as a reflexologist and being a prayer warrior and servant of the Lord. She was a Bible class teacher at Northwest church of Christ for the "Little Angels" class. She taught me the love of special needs people. The last 20 years she has been a member of College Hill church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Standifer and Lula Childs; husband, Gilbert Reed; sister, Wanda Green and brother, Olan Childs . She is survived by her only child-daughter, Linda Lou Brunson and her husband, Troy Brunson who have been her constant caregivers; her 5 nieces and nephews. Nancy Hewitt and husband, Dwight, Valli Ann Kerr, Chandler Green and companion, Bobbie Riley, Shelly Perez, and Stan Green and wife, Tanya. Numerous great nephews and nieces and a host of extended family and friends.
