Allen Stewart Herington 84, went to his eternal home on Sunday February 5, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. His wishes were to be cremated and a memorial service will be held by the family. Al was born in Sparta Michigan on June 19, 1938, to Pauline & Julius Herington. He served in the Navy on the USS Lexington for 4 yrs. He married his wife Wilma in 1961 and started their family. Moved to Texas in 1975 from Grant, Michigan. Once he was in Texas, he put his skills he learned in the navy to work while working for Southwestern Bell. He retired from Southwestern Bell in 1998. He is going to be greatly missed by all!! Al is survived by his wife of 61yrs Wilma Herington, his children Bruce Ippel (Tina), Brenda Lee Wallace, Christopher Allen Herington and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Al is preceded in death by his parents Pauline & Julius Herington, his sister Yvonne Lance, brother Robert Herington and great granddaughter Gracie Elizabeth Marie Gutierrez.
