Allen R. "Big Al" Suckla Sr., 57, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Azleland Memorial Park. Big Als passion was riding his Harley, and he now has warm weather, the wind in his hair and a perpetual sunset ahead of him. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth; stepfather, Floyd Lanier; and a brother, Kelly. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; mother, Charlotte Lanier; brothers, Shane Suckla and his wife, Cheryl, and Tony Suckla; sister, Tracy Buck; son, Allen Jr.; daughter, Athena; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many friends.
