Obituary

Allen Michael Tierman, 22, passed away on June 19, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on June 30, 2000, in Tarrant County, Texas to Michelle Ashcraft and Duane Tierman.

Visitation:  10:00 to 11:00 am, one hour prior to Service

As a boy, Allen was a board game enthusiast, and an excellent card player. There was not a game he couldn't master, and he became "the king" of Monopoly! He enjoyed winning, and he especially enjoyed the interaction with other people while playing games. This was the beginning of the social and friendly person that Allen would become.

During childhood, Allen played football, basketball, baseball, took karate lessons, and later became involved in boxing. Aside from his participation in sports, he became an aficionado of sports statistics. While he loved his Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Cowboys, he could also tell anyone about the other teams and players' statistics around the various leagues. Allen knew more about sports than most, and he loved the conversations created by his knowledge of sports. Many would say that he had a photographic memory of all he learned in the field of sports.

Allen loved to play video games, read, travel, and he loved his dog "Shady." When he was away from his dog, he would often say that he missed "Shady" more than any person! Allen enjoyed going to the movies, and he loved to cook. Cooking with a "spicy" twist was his specialty, and he spent a lot of time experimenting in the kitchen!

Allen faithfully read the Bible. He was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Watauga at the age of ten, and strongly believed in God's goodness and mercy. When he was given the opportunity, Allen would use his own life's struggles to talk to others about their challenges. He often led support group discussions in which the Bible was his source of inspiration. Allen had a big heart, and he shared it with those around him. He didn't judge others. He believed that we all have our personal battles and conflicts, so we should be kind to all. "Don't judge anyone" was one of his principles.

Way before he graduated from Fossil Ridge High School in 2018, Allen was making others laugh. He had a magnetic personality and brought joy to us all. He was friendly, fun loving, and always looking on the bright side of life. Allen was a great son, big brother, grandson, and friend. If you knew him, you smiled. We will forever love him, and we know he loved us. We are heartbroken, but we know he is saved, and that he walks with God. We will see him again, but not yet!

Allen is survived by his mother, Michelle Ashcraft and husband, Steven Sr.; brother, Steven Jr.; sister, Stori; and father, Duane Tierman.
