Mrs. Amber Nicole Holmes, 48, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2023 after her 18 month long battle with cancer.

Born in Lubbock, Texas and raised in Graham, Amber graduated from Graham High School to go on to raise her daughter for the next 15 years before joining the aviation industry with American Airlines. She continued to co-own Palm Aero with her husband, as an aviation parts trader.

She married the love of her life, Jim Holmes on June 15, 2016 in Barbados on the beach. They were the best of friends before falling in love. They quickly became inseparable and spent the next 7 years living their life to the fullest and building the company of their dreams.

Amber was a devoted mother to her daughter, Chelsie and gave her endless love and support over the years.

You will never find Amber without a root beer in one hand and Aquaphor in the other. She was a shopaholic, travel enthusiast, and foodie to the core and her smile lit up the room and her presence was consuming in the best way possible. The strongest soul you'd ever meet and a stunning face you just couldn't help but acknowledge.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Holmes; daughter, Chelsie Cox; Stepdaughter, Madison Holmes; best friend, Jacque Chatto; brother, Eric Powell his wife, Lilly Powell; Niece, Olivia Powell; parents, Linda and Charlie Powell; and Roxie, her yorkie.
