Anna M. George, 100, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Graveside service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2017, in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2017, at Biggers Funeral Home. Anna was born July 24, 1917 in Ennis to Charlie and Betty Martinek. She was a lifelong area resident who loved gardening and canning the vegetables she had grown. She was an excellent seamstress and made her children's clothes when they were young. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sammie George in 1987 and by her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Ruby Martinek. The family would like to thank all of the caregivers at Garden Terrace Alzheimer's Center, who have all been our special family all of these years, and a special thanks to Earl. They will always be in our hearts and prayers.
