He married Gregoria Portillo and together they had two sons. Arthur worked at Mrs. Baird's as a baker. He is preceded in death by his parents. Arthur is survived by, his wife, Gregoria Amador; his two sons, Armando Amador from Fort Worth, Texas and Arturo Amador and his wife, Rebecca from Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, Mateo Amador, Ella Amador both from Fort Worth, Texas, Samantha Amador from Lubbock, Texas, Armando Ray Madrigal from Aurora, Colorado, Joshua Amador, Isaiah Amador and Gabriel Amador all from Arlington, Texas; his brothers, Alvin and Alfred Amador both from Kenedy, Texas; and his sister, Aurora Gerhardt from Malakoff, Texas.
