Obituary

Augustine Meda Green passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Memorial service: October 7, 2022 at Eagle Mountain International Church. Augustine Meda Green was born October 2, 1964 to Augustyne Larry and Richard Williams in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a graduate of Incarnate Word College in San Antonio Texas (1994), where she majored in Fashion Design. She also attended Palo Alto Community College, San Antonio, Texas and she was a graduate of Frank Cody High School in Detroit, Michigan (1983). Meda wedded John F. Green on November 26, 1986, in Detroit Michigan and moved to Hahn Air Base Germany. She worked as Teen Center Director, Day Care Attendant, she loved fashion, dance, Children, and her Family's both extended, military and church always lending her talents where she could. She was an avid teacher of pattern engineering, volunteered with Big Brothers and Sisters of Arlington, Texas, sub teacher for the Arlington Public Schools, Special Education attendant at the Arlington Recreation Center, Alter Prayer Minister at the Eagle Mountain International Ministries (EMIC), day care worker, and greeter. She also taught sewing instruction for Hobby Lobby and JoAnne Fabrics. Meda was preceded in death by her father, Richard T. Williams, Sr.; brothers, Rollin Williams, Raphael Williams, and Kevin Larry; her favorite sister-in-law, Sharnell Green-Johnson and mother-in-law, Deborah A. Green-Wiggans; and grandmother, Virginia Haddon, Zina & Dondre Brim. She is survived by husband, John F. Green; son, Jaylon F. Green; mother, Augustyne Williams; sister, Jada Sewell and her children, Tory and Terrell Sewell; sister, Angela Wilson and husband, Jackie; brother, Marvin Rice and wife, Twayna; brother, Richard Williams, Jr.; and sister, Karen Byrdsong; Sonya Green, Nicola Green, Leah Crayton, Derrick, Dary & Shila Brim, Sharron & Ernest Bradley and all other family and friends. She was truly a memorable and special person loved, cherished and missed by all.
