Barbara Bonnie Smith, 58, passed from this life Sunday, April 23, 2017 A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Lakeside. Bonnie was born in San Antonio on March 23, 1959 to Robert and Florence Blakeslee. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steven. Her passion in life was to travel and see new things. In death she has taken the longest road to see all things. Survivors include her husband and "Best Friend" of 20 years, Tim; her sister, Lila Blakeslee and husband, Paul Genke; her four dogs, Zues, Zoie, Buddy and Romeo; and her two cats, Dewey and Sammy.
