She was born on March 4, 1937, in Fort Worth, Texas to Samuel & Myrtle Lile.  She grew up in River Oaks, Texas where her family were faithful members of Trinity Baptist Church. Barbara graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1955.  She married the love of her life, James Webber, on June 14, 1958.

Barbara was a faithful woman of God and demonstrated this faithfulness in all areas of her life.   As a wife and mother, she both taught and modeled her Christian values through personal bible study and regular church attendance.  This extended to sharing her faith to the community by attending regular weekly visitation.  Her love for children was demonstrated through teaching Sunday school, children's choir, vacation bible school, Girls Auxiliary (GA's) and being a para-professional at Joy James Elementary.  Barbara's love for God was also expressed through singing praises in the church choir and playing hymns on the piano at home.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James Webber; son, Richard Webber; parents; and four brothers: Lewis, W.S Jr. "Bill", Harry, and Jerry Lile.

She is survived by her son, Clifford Webber and wife, Danna; widow of son Richard Webber, Missy Webber Willams and husband, Bubba; daughter, Heather Webber Daffern and husband, Aaron; eight grandchildren: Alexis Webber Morris and husband, Bryson, Wittney Webber Bradley and husband, Rusty, Danielle Webber Rittgers and husband, Nick, Jonathan Webber, Dave, Drew, Desiree and Daniel Daffern; four great-grandchildren: Emma Bradley, and Emily, Rilee and Jolee Morris; also counted as survivors are a large group of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
