Betty Irene Brown passed away Monday, December 28, 2015. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 12/30/15, in Dido Cemetery. Betty was born to Ollie and Ruthie Mae Whatley on November 20, 1926, in Dallas. She was employed by Century Bookstore, TCU, and Trinity News Company. She was a very active member of Haslet UMC. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila and Carol and husband, Mike; her son, Mike and wife, Sally; sisters, Ann Jo Beaty and Sharon Sanders; grandchildren, Robert, Chris, Stephenie, Kevin, Brenna, Rebecca and Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Gianna, Lily and Ava.
