Betty Jean Jones, 83, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed from this life into the hands of her Lord God on Thursday, July 18, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive guests 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Betty was born to John and Edna Ewing on August 15, 1929, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She married the love of her life, Dewey Jones, on June 5, 1948. Betty will be remembered for her love of gospel music, her strong values, her powerful prayers and her faithfulness to her Savior. She had a smile that would light up a room, a laugh that would warm your heart and will be missed by all of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Jones; daughter, Brenda Breisch; brothers, D.L Ewing and John B. Ewing; and sisters, Modine Chunn and Martha Penney. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Rousseau, and Gail Henderson and husband, Charlie; son-in-law, Glenn Breisch; grandchildren, Steve Winters, Jason Breisch and wife, Stefani, Jason Elliott and wife, Cody, Jaime Prestwood and husband, Chad, Eric Elliott, Jennifer Stern and husband, David, Josh Addington and wife, Bobbie, Hollie Page and husband, Denton, Matt Addington and wife, Candace, Phillip Henderson and wife, Marissa; 19 great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
