Betty "Louise" Wimberly Oliver Brookshier, 82, of Azle, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 1, 2025.

A celebration of Betty's life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2 p.m. "Should any changes occur, we will let everyone know promptly." Meeting all at Victory Christian Center, 737 Boyd Rd, Azle, TX 76020. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

She was born on May 18, 1943, in Marble Falls, Texas, to the late W. W. Wimberly and Annie May Maze Wimberly. Betty grew up in a loving family alongside her siblings — the late Barbara Wimberly Strickland, the late Billy Wimberly, and her surviving sisters Beulah Wimberly Knox and Juanita Wimberly Golf.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Betty is survived by her daughters, Beverly Barton Trussell and husband, Richard, and Tammie Clawson Trussell and husband, Jerry Brumfield; she was blessed with seven grandsons and three great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and pride.

Betty dedicated over 30 years of her life to Kenneth Copeland Ministries, where she retired after a long and fulfilling career. Her work was more than just a job — it was an extension of her faith and her calling to serve others. Her church family at Victory Christian Center in Azle was an anchor in her life, and she cherished the fellowship and love she found there.

Betty will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, and her steadfast kindness toward everyone she met.
