Billy Lawrence Heflin, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the age of 89.

Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Biggers Funeral Chapel, Lake Worth, Texas.

Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery following the service.

Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2025 at Biggers Funeral Home.

Born February 10, 1936, Billy lived a life marked by deep faith, devotion to his family, and service to his country. A proud veteran, he served honorably in the United States Air Force for 20 years, dedicating himself with strength and integrity.

Billy's love for the Lord guided him throughout his life. He found joy in the simple pleasures—casting a line on a quiet morning, playing solitaire, and most of all, spending time with the family he cherished dearly. He was also a gifted storyteller who loved to make others smile with a clever riddle or a well-told tale. His stories brought laughter, wisdom, and warmth to all who heard them.

He will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering love. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, and the memories shared by those who knew and loved him.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy and two sons, Bryan and Bruce Heflin.

He is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Heflin; son, Glenn and Sherry Heflin; daughter-in-law, Kristi Heflin; grandchildren, Megan Reeves, Paige Heflin, Spencer and Maegan Heflin, Shawny and Kevin Kelsay, Shane Heflin and Lili; great-grandchildren, Landon, Archer, Hunter, and Greyson; sisters, Myrna Linden and Donna Knowlton.
