Billy Ray Jones, 90, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022. Service: 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: His family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Biggers Funeral Home. Billy was born January 5, 1932 in Crawford, Texas to William Ira and Mattie Jane Daniels Jones. He met Ollie Mae Smith Jones, and they married in Waco, Texas on August 23, 1950, and she preceded him in death on August 27, 2021. He was also preceded in death by his parents; by six brothers who died as infants or small children, and by four sisters. Survivors: He is survived by his children, Bobbi Jones and her husband, Ronnie, Billy Ray Jr., and Steven Dale; sister, Ruth Pierce; a large number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
