Billy Joe Thorn, 74, a longtime area resident, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012, in Fort Worth. Service: A service for family and friends will be held at a later date. He was preceded in death by a son, Joe Billy Thorn; grandsons, Jeremy Neely and David Hatcher; his mother, Edith Wilkerson; father, Joe Billy Thorn; and brothers, Bobby and Richard Thorn. He is survived by: His wife, Brooxie Feazell Thorn; children, Angela Houston and husband, Danny, Angela Dodge, Brenda Thorn and husband, Johnny, Dale Thorn, Gloria Hallan and Anthony Thorn; sister, Darlene Bradshaw; brother, David Wilkerson and wife, Sandy; grandchildren, Perry Hatcher and wife, Kelley, Melissa Garrett and husband, Lloyd, Charity Edminster and husband, Rick, Jayson Hill, Brook Terry and husband, Will, Charlie Houston and wife, Ashton, and Anthony Savage Thorn; great-grandchildren, Lily and Danny Houston, Nicole Lemons, Kaitlyn and Matthew Edminster, Kaycee Neely Hayford, Chloe Neely Johnston, Jaelynn Neely, Nathanael, Bethann and Brooklyn Garrett.
