Billye Jean Durkee, 85, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016, in her home with her family at her side. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 2, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Committal will be at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to and following the service. Billye was born February 15, 1931, in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, on May 24, 2013. Survivors include her sons, Michael Durkee and wife, Tammy, James Durkee and wife, Phou, Kenneth Durkee and wife, Barrie; grandchildren, Jason Durkee, Justin Durkee, Amanda Durkee, Melissa Durkee and Sheila Durkee; great-grandchildren, Ryan Durkee, Laurel Durkee and Jack Durkee.
