Blake James McMurray, 64, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on April 19, 2025. Born on December 13, 1960, in Riverside, California, Blake was a man full of life, love, and laughter.

Memorial Service:  11:00 am, Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

He was born and raised in Riverside, where he attended St. Catherine's, Chemawa Middle School, Notre Dame, and graduated from Arlington High School. In 2006, Blake moved to Texas with his family and quickly came to love the Texas life.

Blake will be lovingly remembered for his zest for life and his many passions-NASCAR, football, fishing, motorcycles, rock music, and hunting. A hardworking and dedicated man, Blake served as a superintendent in the construction industry, where his work ethic and determination left a lasting mark. Above all, Blake cherished his family and treasured the moments he spent with them.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith McMurray, and his grandmother, Eugenia Willis.

Blake is survived by his loving wife, Judy McMurray; son Nathan McMurray and wife, Amanda; daughters, Chandra Smallwood and husband, Jessie, and Jamie McMurray. He was a proud grandfather to Lexie McMurray, Ashton McMurray, Harper McMurray, Owen McMurray, Kaiden Allen, Jessie Smallwood, and Abby Layne McMurray. He was also survived by his father, James McMurray; brother, Brian McMurray; sister, Becky Casem; and nephews, Devin and Logan Casem.

His love, laughter, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of warmth and strength lives on in the hearts of those he loved.
