Obituary

Bob Farol, 73 years young, lost his life to a sudden aneurysm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Fort Worth, where he was surrounded by his loved ones. Celebration of his life: 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 22, 2017 in Biggers Funeral Home Chapel, all are welcome. Committal with military honors: 3:15 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2017 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Bob never met a stranger, and stayed in constant contact with all of his friends and family so his outreach is vast and wide, enriching the lives of so many people. His happiness, humor, smile, and laughter brought joy to all those who knew him. Bob never turned away from the opportunity to help others and he gave of himself freely, not for the glory, but for the pleasure in living a life of servitude. He served his country, he served his family, and he served his friends, neighbors, and colleagues. This world would truly be a better place if it were filled with more people like Bob. Bob spent his last day working at the Veterans Day parade in Fort Worth with his dear friends, so there is comfort in knowing he spent his last hours doing what he loved. How suitable for Bob that he left us on Veterans Day. Those who knew and loved him should not mourn this loss, but instead, be grateful for knowing him, learn from his graciousness, rejoice in the precious time we had with him, and celebrate the life that Bob lived so fully. Survivors: His loving legacy includes Bobs wife of more than 25 years, Judy Farol; Bobs children, Mark and Kelly Rouse, Scott Farol, Renee F. Parsons, Robert Farol Jr.; Bobs beloved grandchildren, Meghan Rouse and Morgan Parsons; Bobs siblings, Linda Krause, Gerald Farol, and Ronald Farol; Bobs countless friends, both old and new.
