Bobbie "Bob" K. McKnight, 93 years old of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

Graveside: 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Greenwood Memorial Park in Fort Worth.

Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Bigger Funeral Home in Lake Worth.

Bob was born on September 7, 1931, in Boyd, Texas. He graduated from Boyd High School and went on to serve in the Army/Army National Guard and Texas Army National Guard. In 1991, he retired from the military and the civil service. He was a member of the Masons of Texas (Masonic Lodge of Texas) and the Shriner's for over 60 years.

Affectionately known as "Bobcat" by his great-great-grandchildren, he enjoyed visiting several senior centers, playing dominoes with his friends and family members, and going to the Shriner's dances. He enjoyed traveling to various community theaters throughout Texas, but one of his most favorite pastimes was spending time in the casinos.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary B. (Addison) McKnight; son, Larry McKnight; daughter, Kathy McKnight; granddaughter, Melissa Bates; grandson, Aaron Collier; stepdaughter, Sandra Kutej; grandson, Danny Kutej; brothers, Charles McKnight and David Grandstaff; and sister, JoAnn Miller.

Bob is survived by his sons, Kenneth McKnight (Peggy) and Ricki McKnight (Geri); his grandchildren, Zachary McKnight, Ricki McKnight Jr., Matthew McKnight, Kasey McKnight, Michael Collier and Michael Halder, Tara Dyer (RIcky), and Michelle Binkley (Sam); 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Survivors from his second loving family from his marriage to Mary B. in 1958 include his 3 granddaughters; Sherry Bonds (Jerry), Judy Gasparini (Michael) and Jennifer Kutej; 5 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren and his long-time girlfriend, Charon Minter.
