Bonnie Wayne (Harris) Jessup, 97 of Azle, Texas passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 in Burleson, Texas.

Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2024, Biggers Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: Nelson Cemetery, Azle, Texas.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2024, Biggers Funeral Home.

Bonnie was born on September 13, 1927 in Briar, Texas to Barney White Harris and Maud Mullins Harris. Bonnie graduated from Poly High School in Fort Worth. She was married to Ted Jessup for 69 years before he passed on April 7, 2015. They moved to Azle, TX in 1980. Bonnie retired from Tarrant County where she was a purchasing agent. She was a member of Church of Christ Briar. She cherished cooking for her family and having family gatherings. She loved to work in her yard and travel. She never met a stranger and saw the very best in people. She will be greatly missed.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a grandson, Kevin Jessup; her siblings, Mildred Williamson, Marguerite Ash, Harry Harris, and Joe Harris.

Bonnie is survived by her sister, Billie Jean Rycroft of Azle; her sons, Stephen and Linda Jessup of Grapevine, Gary and Chandra Jessup of Azle, and Joel Jessup of Azle and Darla Eager; grandchildren, Rachel Zachry, Jason Jessup, and MaKennah Jessup; great grandchildren, Vanna Zachry, Jase Zachry, and Caroline Zachry; many nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends.
