Bradley "Brad" Scott
Roberts
Sep 18, 1984 — Jun 6, 2023
Brad Roberts passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Brad was born in Gretna, LA to Rick and Joyce Roberts on September 18, 1984.
Visitation: 3:30 pm Friday, June 16, 2023, at Biggers Funeral Chapel.
Memorial Service: 4:00 pm Friday, June 16, 2023, at Biggers Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers a memorial donation may be made to the family for a trust for his son Spencer, or to Grace Counseling of Fort Worth.
As a Navy brat, Brad spent his childhood moving across the U.S. He graduated from Nolan High School in Fort Worth in 2003 and made Fort Worth his second home. Although he had never lived there, he considered Pontiac, IL, where his dad's family is located, his home.
Brad was known for his laugh, dancing and karaoke talents, sense of humor and quick wit. Being a true Roberts, he had the gift of being able to strike up conversations and make connections with almost everyone. He would always find a common bond, whether it was a place, being a Navy brat, sports etc.. When he surprised his dad and spoke at his Navy retirement ceremony there wasn't a dry eye in the room.
He was a TV and music guru with an encyclopedia of quips and quotes. He was a dedicated Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Cubs fan. He recently rekindled his love for bowling and especially loved bowling with his dad and brothers while also introducing it to his son Spencer.
The real joy of his life was his son, Spencer "Snoop". He adored him and truly treasured all the time they had together. They enjoyed playing video games, building Legos, going to the library, just hanging out, and camping under the stars.
Survivors include his wife, Morgan; his son, Spencer; his parents, Ricky and Joyce; his brothers, Kevin, and Brian; his niece, Katie; his godmother, Kathy; along with uncles, cousins, and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank, and Jackie Roberts; and John and Joan Kranak; along with his uncle, Randy Roberts and his aunt, Beth Brubaker.
