Burtis Don Sharp, 73, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 11, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Azleland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home. Don was born December 7, 1943 in Rotan and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Vietnam Veteran and was a carpet installer for over 50 years. He loved to hunt, fish, and collect historical items and always had a story to share and a hand to lend to anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his parents, Burtis and Johnnie Sharp and his brother, Bobby Sharp. Don is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Sharp; sons, Jeremy and wife, Angela and Jared and wife, Tammy, daughter Jeneane Sharp, 10 grandchildren, 3 brothers, 1 sister, and numerous family and friends.
