Carl R. "Rick" Farmer, 57, a loving father and friend to many, passed away at home Tuesday, May 1, 2012, surrounded by loving family. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Friday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Dido Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Ricks name to the American Cancer Society. Rick was born and raised in Fort Worth and was employed by Lockheed for 32 years. He was an avid fisherman, enjoying all things outdoors. Rick is survived by his two daughters, Shirley Crowley and Summer Farmer; older brothers, Leslie Farmer and his wife, Linda, Bob Davenport and wife, Pat, Bill Davenport and wife, LeAnn; special friends; and many nieces and nephews.
