Carlyn Ann Mattingly Cook, 65, a loving wife, daughter, mother, and grandmother, passed away Saturday April 21, 2012. Graveside service: 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Marion Cemetery in Strawn. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Carlyn was born December 2, 1946 in Sand Springs, Okla. She was a lifelong area resident and owner of Carlyn Cook Accounting in White Settlement. Survivors include her husband of 46 years: Cecil E. Cook of White Settlement; daughters, Brenda Holder and husband Steve of Bonham, and Trudy Morris and husband Joe of Aledo; grandchildren, Jacob and Allie Morris.
