Carol Lee McLelland of Azle Texas, beloved mother, daughter, sister, co-worker, friend and servant to so many went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 6, 2024. Carol fought like a warrior to defeat a horrible neurological disorder, but God had other plans and called her home to be with Him leaving a huge "hole" as big as Texas in the hearts of those of us unfortunate enough to be left behind.

Celebration of Her Life: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Redeemer Church in Fort Worth Texas where family and friends will gather to honor her lasting memory and reflect on the joy that Carol brought to everyone she met.

Carol was truly "one of a kind". She was a fantastic mother to Grace and Mickey Millsap, an amazing wife to her husband, Mike, the best sister anyone could ever have to Letitia McLelland, a devoted daughter to Lee McLelland and his wife, Genie. Carol had a 35+ year career at Lockheed Martin where she was extremely accomplished, decorated and beloved. She also dedicated long hours supporting her own children at their school and soon became "mom" to so many others given her magical smile and "can-do" attitude about any task set before her.

Carol was "the rock" of our family. Nothing got done without Carol either planning it or doing it for us. Our hearts are crushed knowing that she is no longer with us, but we rejoice in knowing that she is now free of pain and worry in the hands of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with whom she walked daily and for whom she reflected and spread His love and spirit on so, so many.

Carol was an absolute stunning beauty whose modesty, selflessness and heart for serving others made everyone feel loved, appreciated and valued beyond measure. There will never be another like this amazing woman.

Rest in peace, God's beautiful angel. He really outdid himself when He made you, so I can understand why He wanted you back with Him in Heaven so soon. We are forever grateful and far better off that He allowed us to spend time with you, that is for certain.

Carol is survived by her two children, Grace and Michael (Mickey) Millsap, both of Azle Texas; her husband of 28+ years, Mike Millsap, of Azle; her sister, Leticia McLelland of Fort Worth Texas; also survived by her father, Lee McLelland of Aransas Pass, Texas.

The gift of flowers which will, in-turn be donated to local retirement homes after the Celebration on Saturday can be sent to Redeemer Church, 126 N. Judd St, Fort Worth Tx, 76108. Carol was particularly fond of Stargazer Lilies.
