Carol Ann Newsome, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014, in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Cottondale Cemetery in Wise County. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Newsome retired from World Finance Company in 2003 where she had worked for over 20 years as a manager. The family would like to thank Dr. Allan Kelly, his staff and Vitas Hospice for their exceptional care. Mrs. Newsome was preceded in death by her parents; her "special parents," Preston and Frances Newsome; husband, Charles Preston Newsome; daughters, Sherry Newsome and Charlotte Newsome; grandchild, Brandi Carol Wood; great-grandchild, Kyler Noe; brother, George Brannan; and sister, Betty Smith. She is survived by her children, Shana Noe and husband, Ricky, Shelly Howard and husband, Alton, Kevin Smith and wife, Toi; sister, Judy Faye Simmons; grandchildren, Shawn Noe and wife, Tracy, Chad Noe and wife, Kyndle, Sasha Wheeler and husband, John, Dason Howard, Chelsey Smith, Garrett Henry and Kyle Henry; 13 great- grandchildren and another expected November 28.
