Cayse Renee Cannon passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Sunday, February 21, 2021 in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 9 a.m. prior to services. Cayse Renee Cannon was born June 5, 1987 in San Antonio to Phillip Cannon and Karen Hedrick. Cayse joined the Navy after graduating high school and then spent 4 years serving her country. After leaving the Navy she earned her bachelors degree from TCU, in order to pursue a career in criminal justice. Cayse was just as passionate as she was proud of her position as assistant supervisor with Tarrant County CSCD. She always went above and beyond her duties. Cayse would go out of her way to help anyone. She was truly a selfless person and she will forever be loved and missed by everyone that knew her. Cayse was preceded in death by uncle, Sonny Wilkins; aunt, Cathy Duhon, paternal grandparents, Donald and Mildred Cannon; maternal grandparents, Jack and Jean Wilkins; and step-mother, Robin Cannon. Cayse is survived by her husband of 5 years, Dillon Self; father, Phillip Cannon; mother, Karen Hedrick and husband, Billy; sister, Cody Woehl and husband, Matt; step-sisters, Brandy Robinson and husband, Jim and Tara Gosnell and husband, Russ; step-brothers, Richard Shane Blevins and Joe David Wigner; uncles, Tim Wilkins and wife, Yvette and Guy Wilkins and wife, Rosi; aunt, Donnelle Remmler; nieces and nephews, Madison, Jack, Peyton, Ellie, Noah, Spencer, Katelyn, and Aaron; cousins, Bryan, Ashlin, Kimberlin, Camerin, Jordan, Calvin, Nikki, Zanayne, Tiffany, Jason, and Sydney; and many other extended family members and friends.
