Charlie was born on September 11, 1950, in Fort Worth, Texas, Charlie was a force to be reckoned with. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1974, earning his stripes and showing true grit. He was a proud Vietnam Vet, devoted husband, father, Papi, and son.

In between his military endeavors, Charlie pursued his education, attending Arlington Heights High School and even flirting with higher education at TCU. But it was his dedication to his fellow comrades that truly set him apart. Charlie served as the Past National Chaplain for the Leatherneck Confederation MC, offering spiritual guidance to his fellow bikers and proving that even tough guys have a soft spot for spirituality. And, as the Commander of VFW Post 8235 from 2012 to 2018, he fearlessly led his troops, fighting for the rights of veterans while mastering the art of commanding a room with his infectious wit and charm.

Charlie leaves behind a legacy of love and service. Survived by his adoring wife, Lorry Beltram; his beloved children, Charles Aaron Beltram II, his wife, Barbara, Samuel Adam Beltram, his wife, Calli, Allison Taylor, her husband, Matt; stepchildren, Kyle McCarty, his wife Diana, and Morgan McCarty and her partner, Myles; Charlie's family tree expands to include a squadron of grandchildren: Avery, Jaron, Addy, Sadie, Maggie, Rylee, Nathaniel, Brightyn, Lawson, Giovanni, Charlee, and Evan; his sister, Cindy Pokluda, brother-in-law, Rick Pokluda; his father, Aaron Beltram; Uncles, Johnny and Embry, Aunt Jean; and a battalion of cousins and dear friends.

Charlie's mother, Sarah Beltram, and his mother-in-law, Jean Merrill, have paved the way for his next great adventure.

The skies may be a little less bright without Charlie's presence, but his spirit will forever soar in our hearts. So, let's raise a glass and toast to Charlie's incredible journey. May he fly high and continue spreading laughter and joy wherever he goes.
