Charles R. Martin, 61, a retired equipment operator for Tarrant County Precinct #4, passed away Tuesday August 25, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home. Charles was born October 6, 1953 in Fort Worth and was a lifelong area resident. He was a 1972 graduate of Boswell High School and on December 21, 1973 married his childhood sweetheart, Darlene Fletcher in Fort Worth. He was an avid fisherman and loved old Chevrolets and had recently finished restoring his 1955 Chevrolet. Charles loved his family, friends, and Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Peggy Martin and a brother, Larry Martin. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Darlene Martin; sons, Clint Martin and wife Jenny and Chad Martin; sisters, Linda Wiggins, Karen Dixon, and Sharon Paulson; grandson, Danny Ray Martin; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of loving close friends.
