Charles "Pop" Nichols, 78, passed away peacefully Monday, March 16, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Charles was born in Hillsboro, Ohio, on May 10, 1936. He served in the Navy from March 1954 to October 1957 and the Air Force from October 1957 to December 1960. He married Wanda Sewell in June 1958. He worked in aircraft, missiles and nuclear power, and retired as a QAE auditor. He is survived by his wife, Wanda "Red"; daughters, Mahaley Mack and husband, Craig, Heather Nichols and Emily Nichols; precious granddaughter, Merritt Mack; brothers, Hershel, Doug and Albertis Nichols; sisters, Garnetta Lynam, Eleanor Day and Margaret Nichols; and numerous nephews and nieces.
