Charles Douglas Smith, 71, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014, at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Decatur Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.He is survived by his wife, Judy Trimble Smith; children, Rhonda, Douglas and Stacy Smith; siblings, Evelyn Kline, Zelma Mier, Margaret, Leroy and Jimmy Smith; mother-in-law, Alice Scheeler; grandchildren, Jeremy, Justin, Gary, Shannon, Tess and Charlie; and a large extended family.
