Charles Randoulph Thompson "Randy", 81, of River Oaks, Texas, passed away on March 21, 2024 in Fort Worth, Texas after a long illness.

Memorial Service: 10:00 am, Saturday, March 30, 2024 in Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.

Randy was born on November 4, 1942 to Charles Wesley and Lola Juanita Thompson in Fort Worth, Texas. Randy graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1961.

In 1959, Randy met Patsy Gayle Brown at the Lake Worth High School library. Randy and Patsy were married at his mother's home in 1962 and went on to have three children, Adam, Jason, and Randi.

He started several businesses as a painting contractor throughout the Fort Worth area. Randy managed many jobs throughout the city from 1962 until 2014. He did several notable projects including big residential remodels in River Crest, the track home projects in Wedgewood and Six Flags over Texas refurbish ride projects.

Randy was very involved in the lives of his children and grandchildren, supporting them in national Go-Karting races and events, Softball tournaments, Track, volleyball, and competition cheer and club volleyball, across the country.

Randy was known as an avid cook, a BBQ pit master especially, carpenter, motorcycle enthusiast, pool player, and one of the best karting mechanics in the country.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother and father.

He is survived by his son, Adam Thompson of Shreveport, Louisiana and wife, Cecelia; son, Jason Thompson of Ada, Oklahoma and wife, Kelly; daughter Randi Morgan of Fort Worth, Texas and husband, Mason; brother, Tony Johnny; grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Logan Thompson, Patrick Thompson, Leighton Shumate, Ridglea Shumate, Ella Thompson, Ava Thompson; and great-grandchildren, Dillon Belford and Parker Thompson.
