Cheryl Ann Tichota, Beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on April 23, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 70.

Cheryl was born on August 11, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Margaret Cryderman. To her mother she was known as her dear redheaded beauty.

She married Robert G. Tichota in 1972, and settled in Hemet, California. Trained in cosmetology, she cut and styled hair from home, and found joy as a homemaker and loving mother to her four children. With a love and talent in both art and sewing, she found an open pathway to use her talents within the community and abroad, crafting banners for churches and schools. Cheryl was an active member of her church dance and intercessory prayer ministries at her church in Hemet. Upon the passing of her late husband, Cheryl stepped out in faith and moved with family to Denton, Texas in 2011, and then to Fort Worth in 2022. Cheryl was a member of Eagle Mountain International Church at the time of her passing.

Cheryl was an accomplished seamstress and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and embroidering gifts for her family and friends.

To have known Cheryl is to understand her devotion to God and her legacy to family. From an early age her children remember seeing her sitting on the couch for hours reading her Bible and seeking God in prayer. Every decision, every event, every challenge, was bathed in prayer before making a move. It is this legacy of unwavering faith that her children benefited from, carrying the flame of her passion for God in their own hearts. She understood each of her children personally and encouraged them all to thrive in both life and faith.

On her passing, Cheryl was reunited in heaven with her husband Robert (2010) and her eldest son, Bryan (2022).

She is survived by her mother, Margaret; brother, Michael; son, Daniel; daughter, Jennifer; son, Joshua; daughters-in-love, Carla and Melissa; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Emily, Kaiden, and Gavriel.
