Christina Valdez Taca Nutt, 53, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2016, from cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, at Crosspointe Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Christina, formerly from Waimanalo, Hawaii, was born in 1962 in St. Domingo, Illucos Norte, Philippines. She was a 1981 graduate of Kailua High School, Kailua, Hawaii. Her greatest love was providing for the needs of others. She is survived by her husband, Randolph Nutt; sons, Gerald B. Whipple of Arlington, Howard B. Whipple of Phoenix, Arizona, and Michael L. Nutt of Weatherford; daughter, Leilani Nutt of Weatherford; daughter-in law, Kim Whipple; grandsons, Shawn and Riley Whipple, also of Arlington; son-in-law, Joseph Hussmann of Phoenix, Arizona; her surviving family includes brothers, Stanley Taca of West Covina, California, Angelito Taca of Waimanalo, Hawaii, Tim Taca of Pelion, South Carolina; sisters, Amanda Ramos of Salinas, California, Lucia Taca of Waimanalo, Hawaii, and Gloria Tabisolo, also of Waimanalo, Hawaii; and many nephews and nieces.
