Obituary

Christopher Allen "Bubba" Cave was born on March 11, 1982 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Charles Lee "Chuck" and Cynthia Louise "Cindy" Whadford Cave, and passed from this life unexpectedly on February 23, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 40. Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 in Biggers Funeral Chapel Interment: 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 3, 2023 at Mugg Cemetery in Weston, Texas Christopher had a younger sister Jennifer, who he was always very close to. He was a graduate of Frenship High School in Wolfforth, Texas. He was the father of three children whom he loved and was very proud of. He started his work career in Plainview, Texas, at a Meat Packing plant, and also worked as a Butcher. In his later years living in Fort Worth, Texas, he was a cook at H3 Ranch, became a certified Forklift driver, repaired cell phones and ipads and in his last couple of years worked with a reset crew for Home Depot travelling all around the country. Christopher had a wonderful sense of humor and loved dressing up in funny costumes, hats, and glasses to entertain his friends and family at various holidays. He loved to go shopping at Thrift Stores and Estate Sales and travelling to see various parts of the country. He was very loyal to his friends and family and considered himself a protector of those he loved. Christopher was preceded in death by his grandmother, Francys Estelle Chance Whadford; his grandfather, Chesley Orval Whadford; Grandfather, Harold Eugene Cave and Grandmother, Mary Ida Wilson Cave. He is survived by his parents, Chuck and Cindy Cave of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Jennifer Nicole Cave Stanton and her husband, Ashley Zane of Brownsville, TX; sons, Xavier Tray Cave of New York, New York and Elijah Lee Cave of Burleson, TX; a daughter, Brooklynn Skye Alaniz of Brownfield, Texas; nephews, Ruger Dean and Remington Lee Stanton of Brownsville, Texas; niece, Kimber Lyric Stanton of Brownsville, Texas. He also had a host of other extended family members.
