Obituary

Cindy Marie Feist-Hamilton, 64, lost her battle to ALS on Thursday, August 1, 2024 in Stephenville, Texas.

Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Visitation: Noon, Saturday, prior to service.

Born in Dallas Texas yet she resided in Orlando, Florida for most of her early childhood. Cindy graduated from Jacksonville High School (Jacksonville, Texas) in 1978 and attended Tyler Junior College. She was a little sister of ΑΤΩ at TJC, an ordained minister and devoted 40+ years of her life to the medical field.

She is a member of First Christian Church in Jacksonville, Texas.

Cindy enjoyed time with her best friends Dawn, Mary, Gwen, Millie, Melody and Carla, dancing, playing cards, reading, crafting, shopping, volunteering, traveling, Florida beaches, and water skiing. She was a devoted mother, cherished her time with her daughter and family and soaked up every moment at her parents' beach and lake houses.

She will be remembered for her spunk and sass, her contiguous smile and big blue eyes, her kindness to everyone and so much more.

Cindy was preceded in death by her father, John Feist; stepfather, William T. Childs; stepmother, Roberta Feist; and stepsister, Trish Childs.

She is survived by her mother, Neva Jean Childs; brother and sister-in-law, John & Rachel Feist; stepsisters, Bettie & Cathy Childs; daughter and son-in-law, April & Jory Mathis; grandchildren, Jaxson, Neva Marie, Dillon and Bailey; her beloved black lab T.X. and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
