Coby Joe Green, age 41, of Fort Worth, Texas, entered the gates of heaven to be with Jesus on Thursday, February 6, 2025.

Celebration of His Life: 11:00 am, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Temple Church.

Visitation: 10:00 am, prior to the Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to Trinity Baptist Temple Church's youth and children's ministries.

Coby was born to Bennie Green and Kim Green on October 28, 1983 in Big Spring, Texas. Coby had a passion for leading children and youth to The Lord. He and his wife, Priscilla, were foster parents for 7 years and adopted 4 children. Coby was an active member at his church, Trinity Baptist Temple Church, where he served the youth faithfully despite his illness.

He loved Dallas Stars and Texas Rangers, playing a variety of board games, going to anime conventions, playing video games, watching movies, watching wrestling, swimming, dancing, wearing flip-flops (yes, even in the coldest of winters), riding roller coasters, eating pizza, wearing Hawaiian shirts, super heroes, wrestling with his children, the Disney character Stitch, playing his banjo and ukulele, and laughing so hard until there was no sound and tears began to run down his face.

Above all, Coby wanted to lead as many people as possible to Jesus Christ. He believed that his illness is what God used to reach so many people and was delighted that God chose him to reach so many.

Coby is survived by his parents, Bennie and Kim Green; his stepmom, Kathy Green; his sister, Keri; his wife, Priscilla; his six children, Brianna, Chloe, Scarlett, Katty, Luca and Amelia; his grandchildren, Chris and Mialani.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Edgar (Pete) and Bertha Green and Johnie Tyrus and Lola Mae McGregor.
