Colby Rhance Gaskey, born November 11, 1984, in Dumas, TX passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Colby was a successful entrepreneur, owner of multiple businesses, and always looking to start something new. He started his first business at 18 years old and continued to thrive from there. Colby was a great father to his four children. He took them boating, spent time with them at the Guadalupe River, supported them during sports, and loved them with everything he had.

In Colby's own words he describes his wife as his "ride or die". There was no doubt in his adoration for her or their children. Some of their favorite past times included traveling, especially to their favorite place Jamaica where they spent many days of each year. They loved going on cruises both alone and with the kids. He made many friends throughout their travels and in life with his fun loving, bright and funny personality.

Colby was preceded in death by his father, Richard (Rick) Dwayne Gaskey and mother, Kelley Dawn; grandmother, Dora Anna Sonntag Maler; grandfather, Robert, and his grandfather, Jerry Gaskey.

He is survived by his wife Heather; oldest son; Kyler, daughter; Savannah, daughter; Cadlie, and youngest son; Brodi; Brother; Jarrod, Uncle Michael and Aunt Melissa Shelton; Uncle Frank and Aunt Misti Nichols; Uncle Brian and Aunt Meagan Martin; grandparents Don and Donna Cline; grandparents Ronnie and Sherry Driver; and numerous cousins, extended family and many, many friends.
