Obituary

Craig Lynn Campbell, 58, of Denton, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Family visitation: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, Biggers Funeral Home in Lake Worth, followed by a graveside service, 12:00 p.m. at Dido Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Denton State Supported Living Center in memory of Craig, 3980 State School Road, Denton, Texas 76210, 940-891-0342.

Craig was born February 27, 1968 in Fort Worth to Jimmie and Vicky. From the very beginning, he brought light and love into the lives of those around him.

Craig lived a life marked by both physical and mental challenges, yet he was a powerful example of unconditional love and joy. He is best remembered for his beautiful eyes, which reflected a deep and genuine warmth. Though Craig may never have walked or spoken in this life, we take comfort in knowing that his first steps were taken on streets of gold, and his first words were praises to Jesus—now fully healed and whole.

Craig is survived by his devoted father, Jimmie and Shirley Campbell; his mother, Vicky Ledingham; his brothers, Mark Campbell and Les Ledingham; his sisters, Lisa Moore and Monica Miller; and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Wendy; and his grandparents, Si and Mary Campbell, Bob and Veda Schwartz.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Denton State Supported Living Center, who provided exceptional care, compassion, and love throughout most of Craig's life.
