Craig Houston Russell, 68, of River Oaks (or do we just say Fort Worth, Texas?), went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 30, 2025, after a battle with an autoimmune condition.

Service: 2:00 pm, Friday, January 9, 2026, Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.

Visitation: 1:00 pm, Friday, prior to service.

Interment: 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 10, 2026, Bethesda Cemetery, Lindale, Texas.

Craig was a loving son born September 7, 1957, to parents Jim and Sue Russell. A devoted husband to Karen. A supportive, caring father to Catie and Mark. Craig's career as an architect was marked by his passion and expertise in designing modular buildings, leaving a lasting impact in his field.

Craig was a beacon of joy and love to everyone around him. He was talented with a yo-yo and was an avid collector of all things Coca-Cola. He was a baseball coach for his son in little league; a dance partner for his daughter in the annual father-daughter dance recital; the leader of the cheer squad for every game, track meet, horse show, and recital his children ever had. If you needed him, he was always there with a comforting word of wisdom and a good "dad" joke (or 12) at the ready. Bringing warmth, laughter, and eye rolls to all who knew him.

Craig was preceded to heaven by his mother, Sue Russell; and sister, Karen Crotzer.

He is survived by his father, Jim Russell; wife, Karen Russell; daughter, Catie and her husband, Jeff Ryan; son, Mark and his wife, Laura Russell; and their daughter, Craig's beloved granddaughter, Elizabeth; as well as his nephew, Ryan Jones.
