Cruz
Flores
May 31, 1972 — Aug 30, 2024
Born May 31st, 1972, Cruz passed away peacefully in his mother's home on August 30th, 2024, at 52 years of age. He resided here for the last few years of his life after he got sick. His mother, Yolanda, took care of him and comforted him in his last years with all the strength and love a mother could give.
Lake Worth, TX is where Cruz spent most of his life from a kid to an adult. Cruz lived for the simple pleasures in life, going out to eat with the people he cared about, going to see the next big movie with his 2 sons or brothers, watching reruns on TV, sitting on his front porch at night just listening to music and making sure his family was taken care of. Cruz was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan, and he would frequently mention that he "bleeds blue and silver". But even as much as he loved his Cowboys, that love paled in comparison to his love he has for his 2 sons, Caleb and Michael, and his Grandson Perseus. Cruz was incredibly vocal about his love for his sons saying that they "were the greatest accomplishment of his life", and the joy and love shined brightly from his infectious laugh and smile whenever his grandson came to visit "Grandpa Froggy".
Cruz is survived by his mother, Yolonda Casiano; his stepfather, David Casiano; his sister Melissa Hernandez; his 2 brothers, Moises and Carlos Flores; his 2 sons, Caleb and Michael Flores; his grandson, Perseus Flores; and his niece, Genisis Hernandez.
