Dallas Leroy Tousley, age 87, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at his home in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by his family.

Service: A memorial will be held in Culver, Indiana at a future date to be determined.

Born on November 27, 1937, in Logansport, Indiana, he graduated from Aubeenaubee High School in 1956 and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He served part of his term in Japan and later returned to the states where he was stationed in Smyrna, Tennessee. It was there that he met his wife of 65 years, Mary Ellen Richmond of Flat Top, West Virginia.

Honorably discharged in 1960, Dallas and Mary moved to Culver, Indiana where they had their daughter, Sharon, in 1961. Another child, Philip, was born in 1967, and passed away shortly thereafter.

In 1986, Dallas and Mary relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where they lived until December, 2023, when they moved to Fort Worth to be close to their daughter.

Dallas spent his professional career as an accountant working at Commercial Honing in Hamlet, Indiana and Arizona Refuse in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dallas was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Lorenzo Tousley and his mother, Ovel Jean Tousley.

Dallas will be remembered for his kindness and sweet nature. He was a wonderful friend and truly treasured those he befriended over the years. He was also a dog lover and is now playing happily in Heaven with his beloved little dog, Willie.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of Fort Worth; his daughter, Sharon Tousley and wife, Krista White of Fort Worth; his brother, Claurel Tousley and wife, Peggy Tousley of Orange Beach, Alabama; his sister, Rosalie Duff of LaPorte, Indiana, and his grandchildren, Kaylee White and Noah White of Fort Worth.
