Darla Jean Corthay, 50, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. She was born to the late Gerald and Sylvia Broyles on April 11, 1964, and resided in Crowley most of her life. Laughing with family and friends was Darlas passion and delight. She grew up alongside her brother, Randy, and her sister, Rhonda. She was a wonderful mother to her daughters, Kacee and Kelli; and her son, Kyle. She loved spending her evenings and holidays with her grandchildren, Kailey, Kaden, Alex and Elia; nephews, Cody, Colton, Mason, Maddox; niece, Makenna; brother-in-law, David; sister-in-law, KK; son-in-law, Carlos; and the father of her children, Craig Corthay.
