If you knew Darrell Collins, you'll probably remember him in a Harley Davidson shirt and jeans, willing to help those in need or give someone a second chance at life, if needed, even if he gave you a hard time while doing it. Darrell, who was born on March 25, 1955, in Fort Worth to the late Jack and Betty Joyce Collins, worked hard and played harder. He was a master electrician, starting the family business Collins Construction Services with his son Forrest and inspiring many others while helping them advance their careers. He was the owner of the Honky Tonk Woman Saloon in Azle and was often seen riding his beloved Harley. Darrell was a people person, loved his grandchildren and enjoyed working on cars. While he may have been a bit gruff on the outside, he loved people, had a huge heart and lived life to the fullest.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Frank, Bill and Bob.
Survivors: Children, Forrest Collins and wife, Stefanie, Ryan Collins and wife, Heather, Dalton Collins and wife, Danielle, Little Darrell Collins, and Cayla Collins; nephew, Jack Collins; siblings, Mary Janice, Tom, and Jeannie Kay; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
