David Burris, 76, of Euless, TX passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. Graveside Service: 2:00 pm, Monday, November 8, 2021 at Keene Cemetery, Keene, Texas In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request to make a donation to the charity of your choice in David's name. David was born on July 16, 1945 in Jacksonville, Texas to Oretha Garner Burris and Charles A. Burris. He graduated from University of Texas in Austin. David worked for Motorola in the IT department and TSA at DFW airport where he retired. He then trained to work as security officer for Amazon and UPS. David was a wonderful kind man who is loved missed and will always be cherished. He was a loving son, brother, an amazing husband, and Grampa "B". He loved music and sharing his talent, from cantering, singing at Casa Manana, leading worship services, and performing at weddings. His love for music and his special vocal talent blessed so many. David is preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. Burris and Oretha Burris. He is survived by his wife Shirley A. Burris of Euless; sister, Marti A. Burris; two stepchildren, Tamarah Winters- Schirm (Rick Schirm) and Sean A. Winters; 6 grandchildren, Victor Winters, Omar Winters, Cassie Schirm, Bailey Winters, Cole Schirm and Emma Winters.
