IN LOVING MEMORY OF DAVID CALHOUN DANIEL "DANNY"

David Calhoun Daniel peacefully entered Heaven's gates on Christmas day, December 25, 2024, at 78 years of age. He had battled cancer for the past eleven months and was in remission at the time of his death.

David was born on Sunday, July 28, 1946, in Luling, Texas. He grew up in Arlington and graduated from Arlington High School in 1965. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1969. David married Lucretia McInroe on Thursday, February 14, 1985. They have resided in the Fort Worth area for almost forty years. He has served as a Quality Assurance Supervisor for Jack Cooper Transport Company for over twenty years. David loved the University of Texas Longhorns, playing golf, country music, and time at the beach with his family in Port Aransas. David's "church home" was The Creek Church in north Fort Worth. He was known as a jokester. He had a dry sense of humor that often left you wondering if he were actually serious or just pulling your leg.

David has found eternal peace alongside his parents, Edwin J Daniel and Lila June Daniel; his sister, Monica J Daniel Chesnut; his brother, Shelby Keith Daniel; and his nephew, Travis Lin Daniel.

David is survived by his wife, Lucretia McInroe Daniel; his sons, Michael David Daniel (Rae-Ann), Robert Keith Daniel, and Christopher Caleb Daniel (Brittney); his grandsons, Tyler Jacob Daniel and Ryan Keaton Daniel; his brother, William Scott Daniel (Charlene); and his nieces and nephews, Jeff Chesnut (Michelle), Jason Chesnut (Ann), Lisa Zamora (Mario), Jared Chesnut (Stephanie), and Catherine McCain (Matt) as well as Michael David Daniel and Robert Keith Daniel's mother, Barbara Daniel.

David will be interred at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

"They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and He will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." Revelation 7:16-17

But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love Him." 1 Corinthians 2.9

"Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen." Hebrews 13:20-21
