On the evening of February 23, 2024 Dave (Papa) passed away, in Fort Worth, surrounded by family.
Graveside Service: 3:00 p.m., Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Memorials: In leu of flowers, the family respectfully request, please donate to Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) – Dedicated to advocating for Vietnam-era veterans, offering assistance with benefits, healthcare, and employment. (www.vva.org) Dave was vet and especially tried to give back to his Vietnam battle buddies.
Dave was born in Erie, Pennsylvania to Sam and Anna Federoff. He served in the Army from 1967-1969 and was in Vietnam from 1968-1969. He loved to travel with his wife, liked playing golf when he got the chance, was an avid coin collector, and he was also a lifelong Eagles fan and had been over the moon with their recent Super Bowl win. His favorite thing though was having family over and playing card and board games.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Federoff of Fort Worth; his sister, Cheryl Federoff Huggler of Erie, Pennsylvania; his son, Andrew Federoff of Bakersfield, California; Linda Brooks of Cleburne, Texas, Rodney and Trang Rencher of Haslet, Texas; six grandkids, two great-grandkids, and a lot of nieces and nephews.
