David Devoe "D.D." Richardson, 78, passed peacefully into heaven on Thursday, July 28, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 1, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery #2 near Keeter. The family will be present to receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. David was born in Newark on April 23, 1938, to Paul Devoe and Margery Verginia Richardson. He served in the United States Army and then was an employee of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for over 50 years. Davids bee keeping hobbies allowed him to meet many people that became close friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. David was a loving husband to Barbara; father to Paul, Stephen, and Brian; and brother to Mikel and Charles.
