David Lee Tidwell of White Settlement, Texas, age 79, died on February 28,2024 in Saginaw, Texas.

Graveside Service is March 7, 2024, at 1:30 PM at Greenwood Cemetery, 3344 White Settlement Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76107.

David was born on March 7, 1944, in Gilbert, LA. As soon as David graduated high school in 1963, he moved to White Settlement and joined the Army National Guard. He met his neighbor Judy, who would become his wife of 57 years.

After serving in the National Guard for over 30 years, David began woodworking and building furniture in retirement. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time at the deer lease with his grandsons.

David is survived by his wife, Judy of White Settlement; daughter, Angela and husband, Kevin of Saginaw, Texas; his grandsons, Logan and Braden Burns; sister, Linda Schreiber and husband, John of Weatherford, Texas; cousins and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David LaGrone Tidwell and Dorothy Bell Tidwell and sisters, Erline Collins and Geraldine Hubbard.
